    Engrovy Fold Engraver

The gift they keep is the one you made.

A gift you buy says you remembered. A gift you make says you thought about them. The Fold Engraver is a laser engraver you control from your phone, made for exactly that kind of gift, in your creative space, at home or in the workshop.

    What will you make first?

Choose a material to see what it can become.

Wood projects: an engraved coaster, a keepsake box, a cutting board, a cut-out bookmark and a keychain

Signs, keepsake boxes, small cutting boards and bookmarks. The easiest place to start.

Leather projects: an engraved journal cover, a wrapped flask, a wallet, a phone case and a wall hanging

Wallets, journal covers and tags engrave to a rich, dark finish. Dark silicone, like phone cases, engraves too.

    Engraved glass and acrylic pieces

Dark or opaque acrylic engraves directly. Glass needs a laser marking spray first. Deep 3D effects inside crystal blocks need industrial lasers.

Stone projects: an engraved slate tile, a sandstone map, a carved mandala, a granite panel and a marble plaque

Slate tiles, sandstone and dark granite. Engraves to a soft, light grey.

Ceramic pieces: a patterned mug, a named cup, a soup bowl, a plate and a tile coaster

Needs a laser marking coating first. Round mugs and bowls also need a rotary attachment, sold separately.

Type a name. Press start. Watch it appear.

Design on your phone, send it to the engraver, and hold your first finished piece the same evening. Starter wood and paper are in the box.

    What it will not do

It will not cut metal or clear acrylic, and it is not built for production runs. If you need to cut thick wood, choose the 12W, or a larger machine.

    In the box

    • Fold Engraver with your chosen laser head
    • Hard-shell cover that doubles as a riser
    • Safety goggles
    • Power adapter, USB cable, toolkit and focus block
    • Starter plywood, kraft paper and aluminum sheet

    Choose your power.

The 3W, 7W and 12W laser heads side by side, each larger than the last
    • 3W

      Personal gifts and fine detail

Crisp engraving on wood, leather, slate and coated metal. Cuts thin materials under 2 mm, like paper, felt and thin wood.

    • 7W

      More projects, less waiting

Engraves faster and deeper than the 3W, and cuts thicker wood and black acrylic.

    • 12W

      Selling what you make

The fastest head. Cuts basswood up to 8 mm and black acrylic up to 4 mm, for signs, ornaments and small batches.

Not sure? The laser heads are interchangeable, so you can start with the power that fits today and upgrade later.

    Before you decide.

The questions first-time engravers ask most. Anything else, email support@engrovy.com and a real person will reply.

It is made for first-timers. It arrives assembled and calibrated, so there is nothing to build or adjust. You unfold it, design in the app on your phone, and press start. Starter materials are in the box for your first tries.

Anything that fits a design area of 8 x 6 in. Items up to 40 mm (1.6 in) tall fit underneath as it is. Clip on the included riser for 8 cm (3.15 in) more clearance, for thicker pieces like keepsake boxes.

Not on its own. Flat items work straight away. Round items like tumblers and mugs need a rotary attachment, which is sold separately.

Laser engravers require appropriate safeguards. It has a built-in light shield and stops firing if it tilts past 45 degrees. Wear the included safety goggles every time it runs, never leave it running unattended, and keep children and pets away while it works. Like any laser engraver, it is a tool, not a toy.

Yes, some. Engraving wood smells a little like a campfire. Use it in a well-ventilated room, near an open window, or in a garage. We do not recommend running it in a small closed room.

Not to get started. Safety goggles, starter plywood, kraft paper and an aluminum sheet are in the box, and the app is free on iPhone and Android, so you do not need a computer. When you are ready for more projects, you will buy your own blanks, like slate coasters or leather tags.

Shipping is free and includes tracking. You will see the delivery estimate for your address at checkout, and full details are in our shipping policy.

Your order is covered by our return and warranty policy. Email support@engrovy.com with your order number and we will help you fix it, replace it, or refund it.
